MAC PREDICTED STANDINGS
Realignment News:
Temple left for Big East and UMass makes jump from FCS to FBS and replaces Temple in MAC. UMass has a total of 22 Conference Championships and one FCS title. Temple has improved recently but never made any serious impact. They did win one MAC title.
New Coaches:
Terry Bowden, Akron
Bowden is the son legendary former Florida State coach Bobby Bowden. Bowden is best known for his time with Auburn from 1993-1998. He was recently at North Alabama, where he spent three years before taking this Akron job. Bowden was 47-17-1 at Auburn and 29-10 at North Alabama. He tries to resurrect an Akron program that is 0-1 all-time in bowl games.

Offensive Player of the Year: Alex Carder, QB, Western Michigan
Defensive MVP: Travis Carrie, CB, Ohio
Coach of the Year: Frank Solich, Ohio
