Offensive-only Mock Draft

We wanted to try a new concept. What if you could only draft offensive players in the first round of this year's draft? How would the first round play out?

1. Browns - Mitchell Trubisky, QB, UNC
Easy choice. With Myles Garrett no able to be taken, Browns get the quarterback they have forever been seeking and seem to be pursuing heavily this year.

2. 49ers - DeShaun Watson, QB, Clemson
Niners go for biggest need here. Watson can sit behind Brian Hoyer to start the season and develop.

3. Bears - Mike Williams, WR, Clemson
Obvious fit here, with Alshon Jeffery departing as a FA.

4. Jaguars - Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU
Chris Ivory and TJ Yeldon didn't get the job done last year. Fournette is more than capable of carrying Jags offense.

5. Titans - Corey Davis, WR, WMU
WR is one of the Titans biggest needs overall. Davis provides a big target for Marcus Mariota

6. Jets - OJ Howard
When is the last time the Jets had even a decent TE? Howard is a stud and deserving of being a top 10 pick, he will alter the whole Jets offense and force defenses to game plan to stop him.

7. Chargers - Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama
One can never have enough offensive lineman, so SD takes the top tackle in the draft

8. Panthers - Christian McCaffery, RB, Stanford
McCaffery provides a whole new concept RB for Cam Newton to work with, as he can dump off passes or designed plays out of the backfield, something Jonathan Stewart isn't as capable of at this point in his career.

9. Bengals - John Ross, WR, Washington
WR AJ Green and TE Tyler Eifert aren't the fastest guys but they are big. John Ross has blazing speed (4.3 at combine) and provides a whole new element for the Bengals passing offense

10. Bills - David Njoku, TE, Miami
Provides Tyrod Taylor with another weapon to go along with Sammy Watkins.

11. Saints - Forrest Lamp, OG, WKU
With the skill positions taken care of this off-season, Saints sure up the offensive line further.

12. Browns - Dalvin Cook, RB, FSU
Game changer for Browns offense. Crowell moves to change of pace role.

13. Cardinals - Curtis Samuel, WR, OSU
Speedy WR needed to compliment Larry Fitzgerald

14. Eagles - D'Onte Foreman, RB, Texas
Big bruising back, replaces Ryan Mathews and compliments Darren Sproles

15. Colts - Semaje Perine, RB, Okl
Frank Gore can't play forever, so it makes sense for Colts to groom a young back behind him.

16. Ravens - Chris Godwin, WR, Penn St
Speedy WR to help soften the blow of the loss of Steve Smith

17. Redskins - Joe Mixon, RB, Oklahoma
Washington's running game has been inconsistent for years and the team has been a major passing offense. Mixon allows for more balance and a potential shift to more run-friendly play calling in case Kirk Cousins departs in the winter of 2018.

18. Titans - Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama
19. Bucs - Alvin Kamara, RB, Tennessee
20. Broncos - Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisc
21. Lions - Evan Engram, TE, Ole Miss
22. Dolphins - Jordan Leggett, TE, Clemson
23. Giants - Garrett Bolls, OT, Utah
24. Raiders - Donnell Pumphrey, RB, San Diego State
25. Texans - Patrick Mahomes, QB, Texas Tech
26. Seahawks - Dan Freeney, OG, Indiana
27. Chiefs - Deshone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame
28. Cowboys - JuJu Smith, WR, USC
29. Packers - Kareem Hunt, RB, Toledo
30. Steelers - Jake Butt, TE, Michigan
31. Falcons - Dion Dawkins, OT, Temple
32. Saints - David Webb, QB, California
